U.S.S. Missouri BB63
is now on "Battleship Row", Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.
This photo was taken through the sights of the main gun turret of the Missouri.
When I was getting ready to leave on vacation to Hawaii, it was my son, Rodney who told me that the U.S.S. Missouri was in Pearl Harbor. I like many other Americans, didn't know that it was there. What a fitting place for the ship that was used for the surrender of Japan, to rest next to the memorial reminding us of the war's beginning.
